Thanksgiving Weekend

UTAH!!!!

On sat we headed to Utah, we stopped in St George and Cedar to do some shopping on the way. On our way we ran into a huge snowstorm and were stuck going twenty on the freeway. Cache turned the lights off and we were able to pick up speed. The glare from the lights made it almost impossible to see. While we were in Utah we picked up our meat from Caches Elk and deer. Cache got a duck stamp so he can hunt ducks with his new shotgun he bought at an auction here in Vegas. We also went bouncing around in the hills looking for our Christmas Tree. Here are some pics.

We were the first to make tracks in the fresh snow on the road towards Tropic Reservoir. It was a winter wonderland.

We went for a walk looking at some Trees down by the creek, Brock was cold. His coat got left at uncle Lances from his sleepover the night before. Here he is seen wearing daddys sweater.

We picked our Tree and Cache cut it down. Brock was his lil helper.

On Monday we headed to Brianhead, Cache made sure not to pick up speed on the way there this time. I think he learned his lesson after we rolled the truck in Jan of 09.

We had so much fun. I kept it easy this time being four months prego and all. when we got there we went on about three runs and I was beat. Prolly cause it's the first time of the season and I feel like i gotta get back with it, it's like I forget how or something. Plus I was practicing riding my front edge and carving which caused me to fall alot. We took a break and got some Pizza. After we got back out there again everything changed, I was so pumped and when the lifts closed I didn't want to go home. I swear I get better each time we go... For Cache and I it really is a nice getaway and is so fun. Cache plans on volunteering at Lee's canyon this year. He gets a lift ticket for a friend while he is there. I hope to get more practice in before my belly is to big. All we had with us was my big camera so i didn't want to take it on the lift so we pulled over and got a pic by the B-head sign. I LOVE IT, and I love that handsome man standing next to me.
